Course Topics
Occupational and environmental risks posed by the activities of small and medium enterprises (SME's) require this sector to make gradual changes in their businesses in order to move towards more sustainable patterns of operation while systematized and formalized work.
The goal of a Sustainable Management Program is to integrate technical operations of cleaner production in order to prevent, eliminate and / or reduce environmental and occupational risks generated by daily activities. This includes four stages, based on the continuous improvement cycle of Deming, planning, implementation, evaluation and correction.
The Sustainable Management Program not only increase profits by reducing the risks, but also promote the implementation of actions to protect the environment and improve the quality of life of workers.
Approach
The workshop will have a theory and practice approach; so, participants are going to jointly develop the two first phases of a Sustainability Program.
Participants will focus not only on identifying environmental and occupational risks, but also on proposing alternatives for preventing, reducing or eliminating the identified risks on a Beauty Salon; specifically, in the process of fake nails.
