Call for papers for Special Volume of the Journal of Cleaner Production

Widening Cleaner Production Scope and Targets: From Local to Global Initiatives

The guest editors of the Special Volume entitled “Widening Cleaner Production Scope and Targets: from Local to Global Initiatives”, Professors Biagio F. Giannetti, Zhifeng Yang, and Linda Hancock, are pleased to announce the that papers of the 8th and 9th IWACP are potential candidates for this Special Volume of the Journal of Cleaner Production.

The planners and guest editors of the VSI of the JCLP, “Widening Cleaner Production Scope and Targets: from Local to Global Initiatives” welcome articles, based upon case studies, research papers, and comprehensive, integrative literature reviews that include but are not restricted to the topics presented during the 8th and 9th IWACP. Authors are invited to transform their ‘conference-ready papers’ into full, peer review-ready, documents based upon the feedback from conference participants and from members of the SV Editorial team.

Manuscript submission

Full papers are invited for potential publication in this VSI of the JCLP. Submissions should be between 8000 and 12,000 words for comprehensive, integrative reviews, and between 6000 and 8000 words for full research/theoretical papers with broad empirical studies.

All authors must follow JCLP’s “Guide for Authors” which can be accessed via the following link: https://www.elsevier.com/journals/journal-of-cleaner-production/0959-6526?generatepdf=true and follow the standard submission procedures of Elsevier’s Editorial System (EES). To submit a manuscript, please access: http://ees.elsevier.com/jclepro and select this Special Volume “VSI: Widening CP”. All submissions will be subjected to thorough peer review, revision, and re-submission processes. The manuscripts may be rejected after these processes.

Papers must be written in good English. Authors with limitations in the command of written English are recommended to have their papers edited by a ‘Native English Scientific Editor”. Similarly, they should have their final document edited by a ‘Native English Scientific Editor,’ before they submit their final document for the final review and for publication within the JCLP.

Tentative schedule:

Submission of full papers till 30th November 2020

Peer-Review, revision and feedback on the papers: 30th January 2021

Notification of final decisions on the papers: 30th May 2021

Publication of the SV of all accepted papers: 30th June 2021
