Conference Title: The ethics of sustainability: some concerns and challenges. What should we consider when making more assertive decisions?

 

Miriam Borchardt received her doctorate in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina—UFSC. She has held executive positions at multinational companies for more than 15 years and worked in academic research for 25 years.

 

Currently, she is a full professor at the Vale do Rio dos Sinos University—UNISINOS in the Post-Graduate Program in Production Engineering and Systems. Her research topics are related mainly to Sustainability, Social Enterprise and Benefit Corporations, the Base of the Pyramid, Frugal Innovation, and Manufacturing and Service Operations.
