Daniela Pigosso is currently Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Her research and innovation activities in the fields of Circular Economy, Sustainable Design, Product/Service-Systems, Sustainability Assessment and Business Model Innovation are carried out in close collaboration with industry. Daniela serves as Advisory Board member at the Design Society, is part of the Board of Directors of The Biomimicry Institute and serves as Steering Committee member of the Sustainable Design and Product/Service-Systems Special Interest Groups at the Design Society. Daniela has a BSc degree in Environmental Engineering (2008), and a PhD degree on Industrial Engineering (2012), both from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), Brazil.
